Is this video merger really free?: Yes. No signup, no watermarks, no upload caps. Use it as much as you want.
Do my videos get uploaded anywhere?: No. The clips are decoded and stitched entirely in your browser. Nothing leaves your computer.
Can I mix different formats and sizes?: Yes. The output uses the first clip's dimensions, and other clips are fitted inside that frame. Mixing portrait and landscape works, the smaller side gets black bars.
What happens to the audio?: Sound is kept when every clip has an audio track with the same sample rate and channel count, which is normal for clips from the same phone. If they differ, the merged video comes out silent and you get a note.
How long can the videos be?: There is no hard cap, but merging re-encodes every frame, so very long videos take a while. Keep the tab open until it finishes.
