Why 15 seconds?: Instagram Stories and WhatsApp Status cap each segment, so long videos get chopped automatically when you upload them. Splitting the video yourself means you know exactly where every part starts and ends before you post.
Can I pick a different part length?: You can choose 15, 30, or 60 seconds. The last part covers whatever time remains, so it may be shorter.
How many parts will I get?: The video duration divided by the part length, rounded up. A 90 second video at 15 seconds makes 6 parts. The exact count shows before you split.
Does my video get uploaded anywhere?: No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser on your own device. Nothing leaves your computer.
