How does the cropping work?: The video is scaled to fill the target frame and the overflow is cropped evenly from the edges. Nothing gets stretched or squashed.
Which format should I pick for each platform?: 9:16 for Reels, TikTok, and Stories. 1:1 for square feed posts. 4:5 for the Instagram feed. 16:9 for YouTube and other landscape players.
Does resizing reduce the quality?: The video is re-encoded once at the target resolution. Every preset outputs frames at least 1080 pixels on the short side, the same class of resolution the major platforms display.
